PHOTOS: MBSN Democracy Launches Jasmine's Foundation,as Anambra State Government Backs Project

 It was an epoch  making occasion at the launching Queen Jasmine’s foundation, a legacy of the reigning most beautiful student in Nigeria Democracy 2012.
The grand and colourful event boasted the presence of top Anambra state Government functionaries led by the honourable commissioner for women affairs  Hon. Harietta Agbata, Zonal cordinator Anambra state on Ethics and Values Hon. Rita Nwosu, representative of Hon.Sarah Jubril, Prof. Dora Akunyili  including beauty queens, artists, comedians, NGOs and other orphanage Homes within the state.

The Chairman of the occasion Hon Mike Ekweremadu, Senior special assistant to the Deputy President Of the senate charged the Queen to use the foundation platform to reach out to the poor and less privileged in the society. He further  reiterated his commitment to the project.
The richly packaged occasion  which was hosted at the Ministry of women Affair (Model Motherless Baby Home - Awka Anambra state) had double red carpet positioning both representing the two in one event of her 21st birthday and the foundation launch. 
One of the early personalities at the event, Prof Dora Akinyuli commended the drive in the Queen Jasmine Mbonu to set up a foundation to assist humanity. She promised to partner and contribute to the success of the foundation in whatever capacity, but frowned against the culture of African time as the event started slightly behind schedule.
The high point of the foundation launch was prayers session offered from Rev.Canon Franklin Mmor and the  kids from different orphanage homes  in the state.

The Queen Jasmines foundation with the theme, Love inspires hope, tomorrow starts now’ among every other thing is specially conceptualized to aid the less privileged, assist orphanage homes and being a leg upon which Nigerian students from poor parental background can stand on especially in line with their academic pursuit.
